Turtles spending time in our rehabilitation centre (TRC) need specialist care and medication. We have a dedicated team who look after our patients 24/7. The TRC has 8 tanks, with 3 of them in our quarantined area to deal with fibropapillomatosis patients. Read more about our TRC.

We operate nest monitoring & protection programmes on important turtle nesting beaches in Watamu and the South Coast of Kenya. We protect the nests from poaching, ensure they are left to incubate in a suitable location and monitor the hatchlings for a safe passage to the sea.
