A big well done to our intern Daisy on organising a beach clean! Daisy, together with our Eco Visitors and members of the LOT team have been dodging the rain on a rather stormy Watamu beach to clean up the rubbish.

Not only does this 2.7km stretch of beach now look lovely, it is much safer for the marine life here and Daisy will be using data collected from the beach clean to investigate factors that effect nesting sea turtles. Now comes the task of weighing and sorting all the rubbish for recycling and proper disposal, best get cracking!!
